
Back in 2021 living out of a van and adventuring in Queenstown Robin was discovered at the local jump spot, Wynyard. Invited to the Future Ground event hosted by Mons, she quickly became an integral part of the team and has spent the years since championing women’s mountain biking and most recently winning the first ever Rampage to include female riders.

We were lucky enough to join her in the process of designing the now coveted custom Barbie riding jersey to match her Yeti SB165 down in the Utah desert. This is Robin’s dream kit, this isn’t Ken’s dream kit. And we got the lowdown on why below.
When I was a kid I was such a Tom Boy. When I was a kid my first bike was a barbie bike and I hated it.
The movie came out and it was way different to who Barbie was or how you’d think of her. She was this bad b*** with good energy.

What started off as taking the pi**
Rampage 2024 will go down in history for being the first time women were allowed to compete, and Robin in her iconic kit.
