With a number of Crankworx Speed and Style titles to her name, numerous Nines rider awards, not to mention a Gold and Silver in the most recent Crankworx Slopestyle events, Robin Goomes has well established herself as a Mountain bike phenom. Not that these successes have gotten close to getting to Robin’s head, she’s as down to earth as it gets—which is why we we’re so stoked to have Robin on the Mons team.

Similarly, but different, Conor Macfarlane is a humble NZ MTB legend that’s been part of the Mons team since waaaay back; and while the competition scene is not really Conor’s cup of tea anymore, he’s still got a deep bag of tricks, style to boot and a healthy heaping of experience.

Robin will be the first to admit, that she’s still got a lot to learn. In particular, hitting freeride or “natty” features is up there on Robin’s bucket list. Good thing that Conor is New Zealand’s expert in “natural lines” as well as features, and he was keen to share is knowledge with Robin. So we put 1 & 1 together and out popped “MACGOOMES”.

Filmed over two days around the mountain bike mecca of Central Otago, New Zealand, MacGoomes is a wee insight into what it takes to learn new stuff on freeride features, aaand it’s just a fun way to get to know the hilarious personalities of Conor Macfarlane and Robin Goomes. But don’t let us tell you, just watch the thing.
